IOTA Australia was officially launched in August 2008
as the first international franchise operation of IOTA, the UK-based landscape industries supplier.The company’s Concept Store and Showroom
was officially opened by Chelsea gold medal-winning designer Dean Herald, at an event attended by leading landscapers, designers and architects. Said Dean Herald: “IOTA’s products have inspired me to incorporate planters in my own designs, as they perfectly reflect the resort living style which is my signature, and the quality is far superior to what has been available to-date in Australia. The planters are also ideal for commercial applications and apartments, due to their sleek look and robust construction.”IOTA Australia is based in Noosaville
on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, and it has nationwide rights to distribute IOTA’s products across Australia. Said Nicholas Jones, owner of the IOTA Australia franchise: “Noosa is a great base for us, as the demographics in the Sunshine and Gold Coasts of Queensland are ideally suited to the IOTA brand. However the brand also has real national potential, and we have already secured industry-leading stockists in both New South Wales and Victoria”. The company’s initial product focus is on IOTA’s granite and slate natural stone planters and stainless steel sculpture, with other ranges from the IOTA product portfolio to be introduced in 2009.IOTA Australia marks an important milestone
