A beautiful new sculpture commissioned by IOTA from artist John Clive, Zing is full of energy and life, giving the impression of being ready to uncoil and spring away at any moment. 

It is made from coated steel, with a lustrous metallic finish which glistens in the light and emphasizes its rippling form.  The colour is a sky blue, which can appear darker or lighter in tone depending on how light strikes, and is a wonderful contrast to green grass. 

Zing is secured to the ground by means of four metal stakes which are driven through holes in the base.  All you need is a mallet or hammer and no specialist installation is required.

The classic lollipop topiary shape always looks wonderfully elegant in pots, and is often seen flanking smart doorways. Ligustrum is quite a slow growing evergreen plant, and will need just a light trim during the growing season (Summer) to keep it in shape. Decorative stones are good to use with the lollipop, as a large area of compost is exposed. Alternatively, you can plant low-growing or trailing plants around the stem, such as ivy.

Self-Watering Reservoir

If you find daily watering a chore, this is a must. Using a water reservoir is a great way to make sure your plants have the right amount of water to thrive – even when you go away on holiday!

The reservoir is placed in the pot before the plant goes in, and is filled with water through the tube. Water is taken up into the compost and the roots by capillary action. The reservoir will hold enough water to keep your plants happy for at least 3 weeks, and you can tell when it needs refilling by an indicator float in the tube.

Using a reservoir also prevents water staining on hard landscaping and excess water runoff, and it is ideal for use in planters indoors.

Two layers of FRC create a sinuous, folded form more commonly seen in furniture crafted from steam-bent plywood. The chair is both strong and comfortable, with its shape cradling the body.
