Two or three pillars together make a wonderful architectural focal point in a garden, and can act as a backdrop to a grouping of pots, a seat or perhaps a water feature.  Inside, they make great room dividers. 

The pillars are hollow, and are open at the top and bottom. They are heavy enough to have good stability without the need to be secured down.
